The Megmilk Snow Brand Group has revamped our corporate philosophy structure.

The corporate philosophy structure of the Megmilk Snow Brand Group is comprised of three elements: 1) Our Purpose and Commitment, which represents our Corporate Philosophy, 2) Megmilk Snow Brand Values, and 3) the Megmilk Snow Brand Group Charter of Corporate Behavior.

Purpose and Commitment (Corporate Philosophy)

Torizo Kurosawa, one of our founders, embraced the approach of “Kendo Kenmin” (“A Healthy Earth Ensures Human Health”); the belief that “dairy farming strengthens the soil, and the milk and dairy products produced from this rich earth are the ultimate nutritious food that can foster healthy spirits and resilient bodies for human beings.” Under this philosophy, the Company took on the challenge of resolving the social issue of that time: achieving stable and enriched nutrition. 

From there, the Company engaged in various corporate activities with the goal of resolving the social issues of the time, including food internalization and diversification and extending healthy lifespans. 

In 2025, the 100th anniversary of our founding, we reaffirmed our founding spirit of Kendo Kenmin as an approach for resolving social issues and redefined our Purpose and Commitment to reflect our commitment to working with stakeholders to expand the benevolent cycle that will lead to the realization of food sustainability, the social issue that will impact future generations. 

Our Purpose and Commitment represents the Megmilk Snow Brand Group Corporate Philosophy and defines our reason for existing and our goals. Embracing this Purpose and Commitment, we are pioneering new possibilities for food for the next 100 years.

This philosophy serves as a pioneering spirit that has enabled us to carve out new paths and is the driving force that has enabled us to take on the challenge of resolving the social issues facing each generation.
As we enter a time of increasing uncertainty, we are returning to our origins and applying our greatest strength, the ability to circulate value*, as we strive to achieve food sustainability, the social issue facing future generations, and pioneer new possibilities for food.
Kendo Kenmin reflects our strong commitment to these initiatives.

The slogan “Love Earth. Love Life.” reflects our desire to resolve social issues as we strive to realize such a society. This further represents our commitment to engage in initiatives on a global scale rather than from the perspectives of “Japan” or “overseas”.
