Children undergo significant physical and mental growth and development between the ages of around 9 months old to 3 years old, and this important developmental period will continue to have an effect on the child's future development process. MEGMILK SNOW BRAND Touch follow-up formula is an infant formula which provides well-balanced supplemental nutrition which tends to be insufficient when feeding weaning food and solid foods alone. Touch follow-up formula includes protein, fat, vitamin, and mineral components in appropriate amounts based on research on the nutritional conditions of children during the weaning period, the Japanese Dietary Reference Intake (2020 edition), research on the dietary intake during the weaning period, and other information and data on infant and young child nutrition. Touch also includes iron, which is often insufficient during the weaning period, as well as DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), oligosaccharides, and other components important for child development during the weaning period.

What is "Follow-up Formula"?
How is it different from dairy milk?

Dairy milk is a suitable dietary source of calcium. However, it contains almost no iron, vitamin C which promote iron absorption, and DHA. Follow-up formula is a type of formula which is fortified with iron, vitamin C which promote iron absorption, and other components which are often insufficient during the weaning period.
Follow-up formula includes a good balance of many of the nutrients required by infants which cannot be obtained from dairy milk alone, and is a highly recommended formula for supplementing the nutrients required during this period. The amount of calcium in MEGMILK SNOW BRAND Touch is increased to 98 mg/100 ml to make it closer to the calcium content of dairy milk. It is also fortified with lactose and vitamin D which promote absorption of calcium.
